Did you ever see that episode of The Simpsons where Homer gets stuck on a waterslide? He tries to lose weight by eating rice cakes but has to use a whole fridge full of topping just to get a bit of flavour. If only he’d had Table of Plenty’s new Mini Rice Cakes.

If you’re in to the whole calorie counting thing they clock in at just 15 calories each. But they get the thumbs up purely on taste, which comes from the berry yoghurt and real chocolate toppings. I know it’s real chocolate because I accidentally left one in the sun and it melted.

Unlike Homer you won’t need to add anything to these rice cakes, but if you’re feeling particularly decadent you could spread a bit of peanut butter on the chocolate variety or make an icecream sandwich with the berry yoghurt ones.

Table of Plenty Mini Rice Cakes come in milk chocolate, dark chocolate and triple berry flavours. You can pick them up in Coles supermarkets – RRP $3.99/pack.
