I consider myself very fortunate that I can deal with gluten. But knowing plenty of gluten intolerant folk, it seems that the hardest part of the whole thing is not so much giving up bread, but the trial and error (mainly error) involved with getting gluten-free products that taste nice.
Live Free Gluten Free have spent the past few years coming up with a range of gluten-free products that have the emphasis on what should be the most important part: the taste. There‘s a Chicken Seasoning Mix for a fast-food fix, a Bread Mix for bake at home loaves and a Pastry Mix for sweet and savoury treats.
We took the Pastry Mix for a spin around our test kitchen and loved the flavour so much we came up with a recipe to show it off – you can check it out here. If that’s not recommendation enough, LFGF products are used by Sydney’s Four Seasons Hotel to make their gluten-free meals.
You can by Live Free Gluten Free products through selected stockists, or via their online store. Prices start from $14.
We have a Life Free Gluten Free starter pack to give away, including:
1 x 700g LFGF Pastry Mix
1 x 700g LFGF Bread Mix
1 x 700g LFGF Chicken Seasoning Mix
To enter simply email info@neateats.com.au and tell us what your favourite gluten-free treat is. And don’t forget to like us on Facebook! Entries close 28 September.

I work in a Bakery, and ive recntly convinced my Boss to introduce a “gluten free” alternative seeing as i have an alergy! Its now the most bought bread in our store Id love to give it a shot in my own home, instead of paying $10 for a loaf of bread!

gluten free rice thins in either salt an vinegar or sun dried tomatos…both are amazing and I could devour a whole packet in one sitting!
